Decorating Basics Course
The Wilton Decorating Basics course has been designed to teach the beginner cake decorator the basics of cake preparation and decoration techniques, it also offers an experienced decorator the opportunity to brush up on some basic skills. The Decorating Basics course is a pre-requisite to doing the other Wilton courses.
Each Decorating Basics course runs for 4 weeks and each session will be 2 hours. Our course fee includes a student kit, booklet and some items you will need to complete the course in a basic way (you will need to bring cakes, cookies etc to decorate), all of which is yours to keep.

We have planned the following WILTON DECORATING BASICS Courses. These are being run on Thursday nights and Saturday afternoons. Further dates and times will be announced as they are finalised.
All Decorating Basics Courses for 2012 are now full. Dates for 2013 are shown below
- Thursday, 27 June, 4, 11 & 18 July 7.00 – 9.00 pm
- Thursday, 1, 8, 15 & 22 August 7.00 – 9.00 pm
- Saturday, 17, 24 31 August & 7 September 1.30 – 3.30 pm
- Saturday, 2, 9, 16 & 23 November 1.30 – 3.30 pm
Please ensure you can attend all dates for your chosen course, as it is not possible to schedule make-up classes.
